AMENTUM has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager/ Alternate Project Manager in Kuwait.
The Alternate Project Manager (PM) shall act on behalf of the Contract in the absence of Project Manager and the position has a dual responsibility as the Operations Manager in meeting the contract requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the PM in the management and coordination and tracking of operations to ensure operating effectiveness and efficiency and compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and company policies and procedures.
2. Coordinate, synchronize, manage and track ongoing.
3. Manage tasking, develop synchronized timelines for project completion, manage requests for information conduct analysis and develop courses of actions.
4. Ensure synchronization between the contractor and military operations team.
5. Interface with government officials as needed to ensure operational issues that may arise are resolved.
6. Ensure staff is adequately trained and workloads are prioritized and coordinated in order to fulfill mission requirements.
7. Monitor and evaluate staff performance.
8. Provide administrative and technical leadership of the project, including responsibility for cost, scheduled and overall performance.
9. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
The Alternate PM/Operations Manager must have a minimum eight(8) years of management experience in Army Logistics operations with at least 5years of documented management experience at Army battalion level or higher in the areas of Army transportation, supply and maintenance.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of variety of Army regulations related to the daily operations of an Army Installation and general knowledge of logistics information systems that pertain to the areas within PWS.
Additionally, The Alternate PM/Operations Manager must understand ISO and quality management systems.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with military STAMIS AWRDS, LMP, GCSS-Army
Experience using Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
Experience with application and understanding of ISO 9001:2015
Familiarity with military regulation, FAR and DFAR regulatory guidance
Certification & License:
Secret Clearance required

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
