Responsible for acting as the senior Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) for non-expendable wholesale property under direct supervision. Responsible for in-depth research and problem resolution for GCSS-Army applications. Develops formalized training for local users for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs customer service for all GCSS-A related activities in accordance with the GCSS-A End User Manual (EUM).
Validates, monitors, and researches all GCSS-Army transactions and provides resolution on complex issues
Provides formalized on-site training and advanced support for GCSS-Army.
Produces and edits Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as required.
Provides timely, accurate, and relevant information to the operations leadership and the customer.
Provides oversight for the LIS Operators I/II.
Generates reports from GCSS-Army as required.
Provides logistical support to other operational and support elements as required.
Conducts and participates in scheduled, unscheduled inventories and surveys.
Performs other related duties as assigned or directed
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of functional GCSS-Army and/or LMP experience is required.
Prior military equipment, automation systems related to Class VII accountability experience required.
Certification & License:
Tier 1 NACI required for all U.S. Citizens.
Ability to obtain SAAR approval for NIPR access to USG STAMIS required.
GCSS-A certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
AESIP and/or GCSS-A familiarization and experience preferred.
Highly proficient in GCSS-Army applications and functions to manage assets (requisitioning, receiving, reconciliation and stock control).
Full knowledge of Army Regulations, AR 710-2, AR 735-5, AR 740-26 and DA PAM 708-2.
Must possess strong knowledge of Army Supply documentation such as DA Form 1348, DA Form 2062 and DA Form 444.
Must be proficient in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and other related applications.
Must have strong written and oral communications skills.
Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.
Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:
Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Must be able up to 50 Lbs.
