• Interacts with the customers (internal/external) to find out their exact needs.
• Monitors all stock orders to supplier or manufacturer to ensure that order documentations are correct and orders are in line with recommended stock requirements.
• Checks catalogues or computer databases to identify and locate the sources of required parts.
• Recommends parts to customers.
• Orders parts from warehouse.
• Ensures that all documentation in respect of incoming parts are correctly entered into stock orders and reconcile with actual stock defined.
• Locates and recommends purchased parts ensuring that best available terms of business are obtained.
• Assists in regular stock checks and annual stock audits.
• Participates in warehouse dispatch, packaging and delivery of stock, and receive incoming stocks.
• Ensures that all customer invoices are raised in line with costumer orders and resolve any order enquiry that may be raised.
• Participates in stocktaking (regular checking and valuing of goods) and update computer data.
• Monitors outstanding customer invoices, chase overdue payments and advise of any unresolved problem
• Ensures that image and level of customer service are in line with company standard
• Performs any other tasks as assigned by the manager according to the business requirements.
