Supply Chain Management:
Plan and coordinate shipments of goods and materials from suppliers to distribution centers or customers.
Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels to meet demand.
Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods.
Transportation Coordination:
Schedule and arrange transportation, including choosing appropriate carriers and routes to optimize delivery time and cost.
Track shipments and monitor transportation progress to ensure timely deliveries.
Address delays, disruptions, and other transportation issues promptly.
Doentation and Compliance:
Prepare and manage shipping doentation, including bills of lading, invoices, customs paperwork, and impo doentation.
Ensure compliance with regulations, such as customs laws, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
Communication and Reporting:
Act as a liaison between internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales, warehouse) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, carriers).
Provide regular updates on shipment statuses to stakeholders.
Prepare reports on logistics operations, including delivery times, costs, and inventory levels.
Problem Resolution:
Address any issues or delays in the supply chain and work to resolve problems quickly.
Ensure that customer complaints regarding shipments or delivery are handled effectively.
Inventory Control:
Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels.
Implement and maintain tracking systems for goods in transit and those in storage.
Cost Management:
Monitor and control logistics costs, working within budget constraints.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest improvements to streamline operations.
Customer Service:
Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting delivery schedules and resolving any issues promptly.
Provide tracking information to customers and assist with any delivery-related inquiries.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation coordination.
Experience with logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS) is a plus.
