Provide IT users at Al Ghurair with support on information and communication technology infrastructure, systems and services being delivered through that as per the agreed service levels with businesses and the users.
Principle Accountabilities:
1. Provide timely hardware and software related support to the computer users within Al Ghurair in order to meet business processing requirements.
2. Perform preventative maintenance on the computing resources in order to optimize the compute performance and availability of computing infrastructure
3. Support the systems administrator with data backup and recovery tasks on the file servers in order to maintain the information consistency and availability in accordance with Al Ghurair IT policy.
4. Collect, document and keep track of all IT assets in order to keep the IT inventories up-to-date
5. Provide the end users (our customers) with a positive experience in order to establish their trust on IT services and provide their feedbacks as source for improvement
6. Coordinate with Project manager on execution of project activities in order to complement and contribute in-house on project based initiatives
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or systems or electrical or electronics engineering
OR
Science graduate with at least 2 years IT diploma
Relevant Experience:
Overall 3+ years of experience in a help desk or end-user computing support environment preferably with a conglomerate or an MNC
