To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a minimum of 6-9 years of compliance experience, including at least 3 years in an Assistant Manager/Manager role within the Banking and Finance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate compliance activities to ensure strict adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement robust compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assess the company’s risk exposure, identifying potential risks and providing strategic recommendations for risk mitigation
• Implement velocity checks to identify unusual or high-velocity transactions, conducting thorough investigations when necessary.
• Collaborate with the risk team to establish and refine appropriate thresholds for velocity checks.
• Continuously monitor transactions for suspicious or fraudulent activities, promptly reporting any anomalies and coordinating comprehensive investigations
• Provide clear and timely communication to agents regarding compliance requirements and updates.
• Offer training and support to ensure agents have a solid understanding of and adhere to compliance guidelines

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 7-9 years of proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role
• Certified Compliance Professional (e.g., CAMS, CFE) preferred
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective agent communication.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• In-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with transaction monitoring tools and risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of the financial industry and relevant legal requirements
