– Prepare and examine financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
– Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
– Coordinate the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
– Monitor financial transactions and prepare regular reports for management.
– Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
– Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
– Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for cost control.
– Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
– Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff.
– Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA preferred.
– Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience at Bahrain.
– Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Using MAC).
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
