The role will support the marketing & communications team in the Middle East, specifically with drafting customer communications, managing regional stakeholder requests, as well as helping with employee and regional shared functions communications activities. Support the Head of Communications, Middle East & India with specific projects and ad hoc requests. Activities include:
Support the HR team with any specific employee communications around the Great Place to Work initiative, FETA 1 year anniversary (May), Breathe Freely
Support the HR team with talent acquisition related communications and activities
Support the Industrial Gases (IG) business with specific customer communications as required; reviewing and formatting of communications to ensure brand alignment
Support the regional shared service functions with communication activities (Safety, Security etc)
Manage and send out comms from generic MEETComms inbox
Edit to house style and publish content on the CorpNEWS (Sharepoint based news intranet site)
Edit the IG MEET regional Newsletter on a monthly basis
Support leadership communication sessions as necessary
Manage adhoc day to day business requests
Support the regional MarComms team with specific projects (events)
Support specific projects as advised by the Head of Communications, Middle East and India including but not limited to press releases, script writing
To be considered for this inhouse position you will have: –
At least 12 months relevant experience gained from an inhouse or agency environment
Experience in copywriting and editing
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus
The ability to take your own initiative, self motivated, confident, and proactive
A great team player; ability to connect with people remotely and build a network
A degree in PR, communications, journalism or relevant field
Entry-level position Location: Dubai; ability to commute within the Middle East, Egypt and Turkey Region Term: 5 days per week for 12 months
