Air Products Hiring for ASU Plant Process Engineer Job at Jizan Province Full Time

SUMMARY
The Jazan IGCC is the world’s largest IGCC facility processing up to 100,000BPD of vacuum residue to generate 2100 MMSCFD syngas used for H2, steam and 3.8 GW of power generation. The ASU is an integral part of the IGCC and is the largest Air Separation Facility Air Products has built and commissioned: comprising of 6 trains and supplying 20,000 MT/day of Oxygen and 55,000 MT/day of Nitrogen to downstream units.
The facility is located in the Jazan Economic City, in the province of Jazan, KSA.
JIGPC requires a process engineer based at site to support the safe and reliable operation of the ASU

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide plant process engineering technical support to maintain safe, reliable and efficient plant operations for the Jazan IGCC ASU located in the Jazan Economic City.
• Provide engineering support to identify performance gaps, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions to resolve plant operating issues.
• Provide technical support for developing and driving productivity improvements to meet our financial targets.
• Support controls and advanced controls functions to achieve consistent and optimum plant performance.
• Provide process safety support, including technical and safety reviews for MOC’s, Hazard Reviews, and RCA’s.
• Provide effective interfaces with ASU and IGCC technical functions, laboratory team, and Operations Managers.
• Support Product Management, Supply Chain and Energy teams to implement operating strategies to optimize product sourcing.
• Support KPIs and Plant Assessment activities to leverage improvement projects.
• Support development and execution for new projects, plant modifications, and plant expansions.
• Provide training to operations and engineering as appropriate.
• Establish and maintain compliance with all company and local regulations.
• Provide engineering support to develop the annual budget for the process equipment, maintenance, and repair program.
• Employ appropriate project development and project management activities (including scope, budget, schedule, execution strategies, risk plans, cost collection / reporting, etc.) for the execution of all projects and turnaround activities.
• Promote an atmosphere of team spirit through good example, open communication, good listening, and timely problem resolutions.
• Foster and support positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance, reliability, and cost of quality goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate in Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Must be able to obtain a Saudi visa/IQAMA, and be willing to work in Jazan, KSA
• 5-15 years experience in Engineering, Operations or related functions preferred.
• Technical knowledge and experience with Cryogenic equipment, controls and processes preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems/opportunities and drive cost effective solutions.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload.
• Emphasis placed on safety, teamwork, and aptitude toward challenging work.
• High proficiency in English speaking and writing.
• Have a keen interest to learn and improve the operation of the IGCC facility.
