Serves as a capable professional in an MEP design team. The Senior Engineer plans, (including budget + resources), schedules, organizes, coordinates and executes the design work on any/all phases of development on medium to large scale projects (or distinct portions of larger projects), with regular interaction with an Associate or designated senior team member. Candidate must be a Public Health Services (Domestic Water Services, Drainage Services, LPG/SNG System, Fire Protection Services) specialist.

Job Duties:
Coordinates and leads the assigned team of Engineers on a day to day basis and ensures that design excellence is achieved throughout
Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team
Leads design work on small projects or particular packages for large projects ensuring project objectives are met, design instructions are implemented and delivery is achieved within the set time and budget
Ensures regular coordination with project teams ensuring communication is flowing adequately, and questions concerns are addressed
Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, working drawings, develops details, develops specifications
Regularly reviews and checks their own deliverables for accuracy, efficiency and thoroughness ensuring delivery is as per AECOM’s Technical Excellence standards
Oversees the production of drawings either in AutoCAD or Revit and co-ordinates using Navisworks
Prepares equipment schedules as required
Take responsibility for the Statutory Authorities’ approval process
Attend client meetings
Confidently present work to colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
Provide technical support to site supervision teams and resolve design related issues on site
Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, contractor’s queries, etc.
Responsible, with guidance from senior team members, for the preparation and compilation of design presentations and design reports
Keeps abreast of the latest software/ techniques to increase productivity while sharing knowledge with colleagues
Mentoring & supporting juniors’ staffs.

Skilled at researching equipment options and installation requirements so that the information can be noted in depth on the drawings

Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is an added value.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 10 years post graduate experience
Proven related Public Health Services Design Experience (Domestic Water Services, Drainage Services, LPG/SNG System, Fire Protection Services) with a multidisciplinary International consultancy
Experience of working on large scale and high-rise projects
Medical gas services and Exposure to external infrastructure network design will be an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
International Accreditations (MCIBSE or equivalent)
