Senior Engineer, Asset Management (OT Security)
Job Summary
Monitors the Operation Technology systems and networks for security threats or unauthorized users. Identifies compromised machines and reports on security measures taken to address threats, analyses security risks and develops response procedures. Maintains security tools, servers, firewalls and intrusion detection system. Prepares preliminary budget estimates for security hardware and software. Responsible for the daily / planned maintenance and project follow-up activities ensuring that the Operational Technology Cybersecurity Standard, Policies & Procedures are implemented throughout the Plant. Ensures that the Company Standards and Regulations related to OT Cyber Security Management Systems are being followed.
Key Accountabilities
- Health, Safety, Environment & Fire Procedures,
- Maintenance of OT Security Assets,
- Coordinates Internal and External Audits, leads the risk assessment,
- Coordination among various Departments owning OT Systems,
- Project Involvement from FEED to implementation at site,
- Coordination with External Consultants and Contractors,
- Change Management Process,
- Data Analysis and Reports,
- Up to date with new technology, Digital twin, AI etc in OT,
- OT Budget for Maintenance, Obsolescence management, Strategy for Upgrade
- Training and Development,
- Risk Management
- Asset Management
- Business Continuity Management
- Access Management
- Requirements for Service Providers/Within Project Life Cycle
- Backup and Restoration
- Data Classification and Media Handling
- Incident Management
- Vulnerability Management
- Security Monitoring and Log Management

Education
Bachelor’s degree Engineering either in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Control & Automation/ Computer Science / Network Security/ Management Information Systems or equivalent degree.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge
Minimum 7 years’ experience in industrial automation, network systems and IT System / Network Engineering.
Demonstrate professionalism, outstanding judgement, and superior service in a positive demeanour in the performance of all duties.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships with staff and contractors with a focus on collaboration.
Strong knowledge in Industrial Control System Operating System Hardening, experience in managing Industrial Control System Windows Administration.
Experience in hardening and securing the Industrial control HMI and Engineering systems.
Experience in working with OT system and network switch.
Experience in working with OT System Cyber security projects.
