MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The divisional CSO is responsible for contextualising and leading the strategic planning process, and providing process leadership to the executive team for strategy execution and business development aligned to the group and divisional goals The CSO is also responsible for all pricing, funder contract negotiations and influencing government health policy related to this for Mediclinic Middle East Strategy adaptation and alignment process on divisional level Business Development ensuring strategy execution including leading and structuring business development projects and initiatives Product Development in the context of business development, funder relations and business to consumer solutions Funder Relations and contracting including ensuring relations, collaboration, pricing, tariff contracting with funders, including the development and negotiation of alternative delivery and reimbursement models with funders Divisional bottom-up innovation and ensuring the seamless integration of group innovation and digital transformation initiatives Support of Divisional expansion (M&A) Divisional specific responsibilities related to health policy, data, and analytics REQUIRED EDUCATION Relevant Bachelor’s Degree Relevant post graduate degree is desired REQUIRED EXPERIENCE At least 6 years’ senior strategic management experience in healthcare with responsibility spanning across multiple functional areas Experience in healthcare insurance on either the provider or funder side is desired Join our Talent Community
