Job Description

• Coordinate domestic and international freight forwarding activities (air, sea, and land)
• Support daily logistics operations between suppliers, warehouses, and site teams
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and contractors
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and proactive resolution of logistics issues
• Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation including invoices, packing lists, AWB, and BL
• Monitor shipment tracking, logistics KPIs, and reporting activities
• Support customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Promote and ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe logistics practices
• Participate in logistics cost control and optimization initiatives
• Coordinate closely with operational, engineering, supply chain, and finance teams
• Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures and contractual requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field
• 2–5 years’ experience in logistics and freight forwarding, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry
• Hands-on experience with customs clearance and international transportation processes
• Experience supporting industrial or operational sites is highly preferred
• Middle East experience is an advantage
• Strong understanding of logistics coordination and freight forwarding operations
• Good knowledge of stock management and digital logistics tools
• Strong coordination, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Cost-conscious, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
• Strong commitment to HSE standards and compliance with Oman regulations

Job Purpose

The Investment Banking Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Investment Banking team. The Associate Investment Banking will be responsible for working on transactions across DCM, ECM, fund structuring and corporate advisory, with focus on both public markets and private placements. The overall objective of this role is to act as a key member of the IB team providing strategic advisory to clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital. The incumbent must possess experience of Islamic capital markets especially sukuks and other Shariah compliant structures.

Role & Responsibilities

1- Business Development Strategy

• Work with the Manager to build and cultivate client relationships by providing sophisticated financial solutions tailored to the clients’ needs
• Assist the manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry contacts and market knowledge
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Monitor industry developments and competitive landscape to formulate business strategy.

2- Advisory Transactions execution, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Market Research

• Participate in the execution of IB transactions, including IPOs, private placements, syndications, financial restructuring, project finance and buyouts.
• Ensure that proposed client solutions meet or exceed internal risk and return standards, including stringent ethical standards,
• Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end process of financial and operational Due diligence
• Prepare pitch books, proposals, financial models, presentations and transaction documents.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, and other internal and external teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.

3- Performance Management and Brand Positioning

• Contribute to the revenue and profitability targets for the IB unit.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Position the bank as a top Islamic Investment Banking Solutions provider in Oman and the GCC region.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Finance/Economics/Business
• Master’s Degree is preferable

Professional Qualifications

• CFA or FRM (Desirable)

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years work experience in banking/financial institutions with focus on Investment Banking deals such as DCM, ECM, Syndications and Advisory.
• Well-versed with local and international capital market standards, rules & regulations with track record of success in structuring and executing Investment Banking transactions
• Experience in evaluating corporate finance transactions and structures
• Experience in closing transactions and driving business growth.
