<p>This Trainee Customer Operations Officer role sits at the heart of our ME&#038;A Customer Team and links service lines, regional teams and projects, ensuring effective co-ordination and fleet health delivery. It supports smooth operations, drives customer alignment and collaborates closely with teams in Middle East &#038; Africa and Derby (UK).</p>

<p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Developing effective working relationships with the Engineering, Maintenance Planning and Operational Planning teams for our customers</li>
<li>Supporting Transformation and Performance projects in conjunction with teams around UK and Global regions</li>
<li>Collaborating with Rolls-Royce teams involved in on-wing and off-wing activities, while gaining hands-on experience across different functions</li>
<li>Contributing to the development and improvement of tools and processes that enable smooth operation of the Aftermarket Operations Team</li>
<li>Collaborating and aligning with the Customer Regional Team in Middle East &#038; Africa and the Customer Aftermarket Service Teams in Derby (UK) to develop a global perspective of Rolls-Royce operations</li>

<p><strong>About The Role:</strong></p>
<p>The Head of Branches – Abu Dhabi &#038; Al Ain is responsible for managing and overseeing the smooth operations of all branches within the allocated district. The role ensures effective distribution of Personal Banking Products through the branch network while maintaining compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, statutory and regulatory requirements. The position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic initiatives for branch transformation. This role reports directly to the Head of Branch Distribution and indirectly to the Managing Director – Retail Banking.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage branches within the district to achieve budgeted financial targets through effective sales, service, and product distribution.</li>
<li>Drive service excellence and ensure adherence to customer service standards.</li>
<li>Monitor branch productivity and implement measures for improvement.</li>
<li>Conduct quarterly checks on sensitive files and operational activities.</li>
<li>Support new product launches and ensure effective branch-level distribution.</li>
<li>Manage operational risk through regular reviews and audits.</li>
<li>Monitor MIS daily to assess business performance and ensure compliance with TAT for customer wait times.</li>
<li>Promote customer feedback via QR codes and ensure staff engagement in service improvement.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with operating procedures, bank policies, and nationalization targets.</li>
<li>Develop and upskill staff, manage performance for underperformers, and recommend career progression.</li>
<li>Contribute to strategic goals and guide branches to act as revenue centers.</li>
<li>Review error trackers and SEU reports, providing corrective guidance.</li>
<li>Enforce channel migration strategies and support branch transformation initiatives.</li>
<li>Maintain audit readiness across branches and ensure timely closure of audit observations.</li>
<li>Manage internal staff movements to share expertise and build a collaborative culture.</li>
<li>Monitor Branch Manager KPIs and ensure achievement within the district.</li>

<p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business; MBA preferred.</li>

<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>
<p>As a member of the Etihad Rail Mobility Passenger Operations HSEQ Department you will be responsible for ensuring the provision, maintenance, implementation, and compliance with OHS standards within the Rail Passenger Operations Departments, you will protect the company’s people, assets, safety certification and enforce ERM legal OHS responsibilities. You will ensure compliance with our defined OHS objectives, standards and safety performance and business plan targets through programs that inform, educate and support a culture of ‘safety first’ in everything that the company does.</p>
<p></p>
<p><strong>Roles and Responsibility:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop, implement, maintain, review and continually improve the application within the ERM Infrastructure department, of the company OHSAS 45001 Health &#038; Safety Management System.</li>
<li>Ensure the company’s OHS Policy is fully implemented to meet the continued needs of the business.</li>
<li>Develop, implement and monitor leading and lagging safety Key Performance Indicators and provide professional services to the Rail Passenger Operations &#038; Maintenance Director for the achievement of defined objectives and continual improvement in OHS performance</li>
<li>As a Team member, describe and implement health, safety improvement programmes to anticipate and manage health, safety risks based on the company’s risk profile. Ensure OHS risks arising from ERM activities and processes are managed in a controlled manner, as a minimum to ALARP and where practicable to SOFARP.</li>
<li>Develop and deliver the company annual OHS plan within a defined timescale. </li>
<li>Organize and carry out safety inspections and audits to meet legislative and safety management system requirements.</li>
<li>Support the Mobility Passenger Operations departments to develop emergency and incident response and ensure these plans are established, implemented, maintained and reviewed.</li>
<li>Ensure a safety-first culture exists at all levels within the business through education and awareness / measurement and the audit plan to drive rail safety and environmental performance to the highest standards. (i.e. accidents/incidents and personal injuries).</li>
<li>Ensure that the Chief Executive Officer, Mobility Passenger Operations function maintains the competence of safety critical personnel through implementation and application of the company competence management system.</li>
<li>Establish OHS standards and procedures against industry best practice and ensure compliance with them.</li>
<li>Ensure maintenance related incidents are investigated for the purpose of identifying root cause and monitoring implementation of rectification plans.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Academic Qualifications: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Educated to a high standard with academic safety achievements up to NEBOSH level or equivalent.</li>
<li>OHSAS45001 internal auditor certifications desirable.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Other Skills: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication skills are necessary in all forms, written, verbal, personality, persuasion, trust and integrity. Able to speak publicly and present in a professional manner.</li>
<li>Able to manage cultural diversity in the workplace and recognize the sensitivities between different cultures.</li>
<li>Adaptability and resilience to work in a harsh environment with most of the time being employed in desert locations.</li>
<li>Excellent English language skill with more than one language. Arabic a preference as a second language.</li>

<p><strong><u>Synopsis</u></strong></p>
<p>To independently manage and organize the efficient functioning of the CEO office and to prioritize all appointments and activities.</p>
<p></p>
<p><strong><u>Accountabilities</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Independently manage and organize the efficient functioning of the CEO office, coordinate and prioritize the daily and medium-term activities; using sound personal judgment, filter and steer contacts and activities based on levels of priorities and urgencies; serve as frontline person at the CEO office welcoming internal and external visitors and handling of high-level communication and correspondence with authorities and external parties.</li>
<li>Maintain the diary; maximizing effective utilization of time, manage changes in schedule, and ensure that all matters brought forward to the office are responded and attended to in a timely and appropriate manner.</li>
<li>Manage and organize internal and external meetings; communicate and confirm attendees, confirm agenda, ensure meeting resources (e.g. meeting rooms, handouts, press packs, agenda, food, equipment, etc.), and organize travels. Ensure preparation and follow up for regular department meetings. Take minutes of the meetings where required, and distribute to attendees in a timely fashion following meetings.</li>
<li>Efficiently process and manage all inbound and outbound data and information, both confidential and routine; screen and sort mails, e-mails and other documents and ensure acknowledgments and responses are provided; review documents and if necessary ask for supporting data before forwarding for approval and signature.</li>
<li>Prepare correspondence, reports and presentations. Ensure accuracy of information, attention to detail, timely data collection, integration of information where applicable, appropriate use of business language, preparation and submission within required timelines. Ensure readiness of reports as required.</li>
<li>Manage the department’s petty cash and stationery. Maintain records of expense claim documentation, invoices, etc. Maintain office supplies keeping stock record and ordering replenishments.</li>
<li>Manage travel arrangements for Senior Executive and senior managers as required, consultants, guests, etc., including assisting with securing visa.</li>
<li>Prepare and update weekly and monthly management attendance schedule. Maintain administrative records for annual leave, duty travel and absence to ensure optimum staff levels are maintained. </li>
<li>Upload and edit department information on EY intranet. Ensure that all functionalities are displayed properly.</li>
<li>Assist in department specific tasks (e.g. update and maintenance of records, IT systems, databases, etc.), functions and other special projects as required. </li>
</ul>

<p><strong><u>Education &#038; Experience</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s level, with additional certifications on office management or secretarial and computer courses </li>
<li>10 years overall experience in secretarial or administrative of which at least 5 years’ experience as an executive secretary is required; experience in a multi-cultural working environment ideal.</li>
<li>Proficient in English and Arabic</li>
