Taking on an operational role of Service Manager for Qatar and Kuwait, the task will be to grow the Lifecycle Services Operations Business across the region. This includes driving implementation of Emerson HSE policies and procedures, improving Customer Satisfaction and actively engaging in resolving Customer issues. This role will own the Middle East & Africa Systems & Software Sales budget for Qatar and Kuwait and needs to closely collaborate with all sales channels to understand orders forecast and profile to provide accurate sales forecasts. Responsibilities Driving Safety Awareness with Service Engineers and other members of the Lifecycle Services teams in Qatar and Kuwait Service, whilst adhering and promote Emerson’s HSE policies and procedures. Focusing on improvement of Customer Satisfaction. Continuously assessing Customer Satisfaction for performed Services and delivered Products to ensure customer feedback is reviewed and actioned. Developing and managing the Lifecycle Services organization in Qatar and Kuwait. Ensuring competency plans are in place for service engineers based on business forecast and profile and engineers’ interests in the team. Taking ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution (especially escalations and critical issues). Owning responsibility for passing SMO Audits and Facility Tiering Certification according to Global SMO standards. Driving adoption of tools and Perfect Execution initiatives for Qatar and Kuwait team. Scheduling assignments for the Service Engineers and ensuring successful delivery of field jobs compliant to service execution process and standards. Reporting monthly results on agreed metrics to MEA Operations Leader. Supporting sales with Simulation and Control and Operator Performance opportunities development and pursuits in the region, acting as Subject Matter Expert for 20% of his/her time.
Basic Qualifications
Graduate Engineer with 10+ Years of successful track record as Service Engineer/Application Engineer in the Process Automation Industry. Knowledge and experience of automation and control systems in the Process Automation Industry Awareness of the industry’s latest technology trends and applications Previous experience in resource management (5+ operations resources) WHY EMERSON?
