Responsibilities
Report to CEO (with dotted line to CTO) and coordinate directly with functional leaders (eg People, Finance, Legal) to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day operation of the Pakistan subsidiary
Work with the CEO to foster and nurture company culture internationally
Work with the CEO to develop and nurture a high-performance and goal-oriented work ethic as well as the effective and timely execution of quarterly Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)
Coordinate local hiring, on-boarding, performance reviews, compensation reviews, personal development planning, and termination activities where needed
Localise and oversee the adherence to company policies, procedures and practices
Work with the Finance Director to prepare necessary records and reports for budget planning and tracking expenditures against budget
Coordinate accounting and payroll for the Pakistan subsidiary
Manage facilities, office supplies and equipment management
Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
Represent the interests and needs of Pakistan subsidiary employees and contractors to ensure the company continuously learns and improves as a place of work
Requirements
Previous experience working within a technology start-up as the standalone HR leader
Experience recruiting software development talent
Experience facilitating development and execution of OKRs
Experience leading the development and implementation of new hire onboarding and talent development programmes
Experience leading the development and implementation of performance management programmes
Experience coordinating with finance with regards to administering monthly payroll and benefits
Exceptional leadership, communication and project management skills
