Roles and responsibilities are as below
• Monitoring and maintaining the stock of all the commodity and specialty chemicals for Qatar region customers after discussion with the respective site/sales team and executing orders to the vendors to maintain the safety stock level based on forecast. For a few customers have to maintain detailed stock report and plan deliveries and coordinate with the customers as per their PO requirement dates as most orders will be in bulk quantities with multiple delivery dates .
• Collate price quotes from multiple suppliers for all the commodity chemicals so as to enable the sales team of competitive bid before the submission date .
• Issuing Purchase Orders from SAP system and maintaining open order status for Purchase Orders . This activity consumes a lot of time as have to issue all the POs and also reattach the PO acknowledgements in SAP .
• Follow -ups with vendors for commercial / shipping documents .
• Arranging quotes from shipping agents for ex-works shipments for both import and export.
• Supporting Qatar logistics team .
• Coordinating with the Qatar Finance team for prompt suppliers’ payments on a daily basis
Requirements :
• Experience 3 to 5 years.
• Immediate joining based at Qatar.
