Job Description About The Role As a Relationship Officer within Business Banking Acquisition, you will be responsible for generating new business from the Distribution–Liability segment. You will play a key role in delivering a strong customer experience through timely lead management, high‑quality sales engagement, and strict adherence to compliance and regulatory standards. What You’ll Be Doing
Managing assigned digital and manual leads (DBO and BAIS) end‑to‑end, ensuring customers are contacted within defined timelines.
Engaging customers professionally and progressing leads through onboarding, documentation, and account opening stages.
Reviewing applications received through SEQ, coordinating EID verification, application signing, and document checks.
Submitting complete and accurate applications into internal systems and following through until account opening.
Communicating with customers to resolve queries and provide updates throughout the onboarding journey.
Ensuring all customer communication is documented and aligned with agreed processes.
Meeting turnaround times and ensuring error‑free processing in line with “Mission Zero” standards.
Cross‑selling Business Banking and non‑Business Banking products where appropriate.
Maintaining full compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Collaborating with internal teams such as Operations, Compliance, and Business Banking support units to ensure smooth processing.
Taking ownership of assigned leads and delivering a consistently positive customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 2 years’ experience in banking sales, relationship management, or a Relationship Officer role.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage customers professionally.
Proven ability to manage leads, meet timelines, and work in a target‑driven environment.
Good understanding of Business Banking or SME products and customer needs.
Strong customer‑relationship skills with a focus on service quality and retention.
High attention to detail with the ability to process applications accurately and compliantly.
Sound awareness of risk management concepts, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to manage priorities independently while working as part of a team.

Qualifications
