UBL – United Bank Limited Hiring for Officer KYC Quality Assurance at Karachi Division, Sindh, Pakistan Full Time NEW

UBL is looking to hire an Officer KYC Quality Assurance for its International Operations function. The role involves conducting Customer and Enhanced Due Diligence (CDD/EDD) to ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The incumbent must stay updated on AML/CFT regulations, demonstrate strong analytical and risk-based judgment, and possess advanced Excel and data management skills. The core responsibilities include:

• To conduct CDD/EDD documents & ensure compliance to policies in all respects.
• To update MIS of all regions & ensure all anomalies/follow up are conducted on regular basis.
• Ensure strong follow up with International branches & business has signed off all CDD/EDDs before due date & anomalies are properly addressed.
• Conversant with up-to-date AML/CFT regulations, guidelines & relevant laws.
• Having good command on MS Excel, preferably Advance Excel. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segment techniques.
• Team building.
• Strong judgement in applying a risk-based approach when analysing the profile of a client and deciding what CDD / EDD requirements should be applied
• Self- Starter with ability to work under pressure with can do approach to meet agreed timelines.
• Proactive & result oriented individual with a can do attitude for creating solutions.

Experience and Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in the Due Diligence or Operations (International due diligence will be a plus).
• Understanding & managing end-to-end Due Diligence reviews.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AML/CFT certification) are a plus.
