we looking for experienced Senior Japanese Assistant who works closely with the chef in a Japanese restaurant. They help run the kitchen and make sure everything is perfect.

Main tasks

• Cook Japanese food: Prepare a variety of dishes, such as sushi, ramen, and tempura, using special Japanese cooking skills.
• Menu Execution: Work to ensure all menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standards, contributing to a consistent and high-quality dining experience.
• Check food quality: Make sure all food is cooked and presented to a high standard. Only the best dishes go to customers.
• Manage kitchen supplies: Handle inventory, order fresh ingredients, and make sure food is stored correctly.
• Keep the kitchen clean: Follow all health and safety rules to ensure the kitchen is spotless.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experienced cook: Must have 2-3 years of experience cooking in a professional kitchen, especially Japanese cuisine.
• Skilled with knives: Excellent knife skills are a must, especially for preparing fish.
• Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and the Chef.
• Hygiene and Safety: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations and a commitment to professional conduct.
• Flexible: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
