Hello,
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Next Gen Program at Weatherford. As a recent
graduate in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Middle East Technical University, I am
eager to apply my technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and challenging
environment like Weatherford’s. I am particularly drawn to this role because it will give me the
opportunity to be able to experience the oil and gas industry most holistically.
During my academic journey, I gained a solid foundation in the core principles of engineering. My
coursework and projects have equipped me with the technical expertise necessary to provide
effective engineering support on-site, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and ensure the
smooth operation of field units. I have also developed a strong work ethic and leadership potential
through various team-based projects, where I successfully collaborated with diverse groups to
tackle challenging problems. Moreover, I am certified to use software such as MS Excel, PowerBi,
and SQL, and well versed with AutoCAD, CMG Builder, IMEX, Stars, and SLB’s PipeSIM and Techlog.
My recent internship at SLB further honed my skills in production logging, formation testing, and
well integrity, where I worked closely with reservoir production and petrophysics teams. This
experience has prepared me to handle the demanding nature of field-based roles and instilled in
me the importance of safety and compliance, which align with Weatherford’s commitment to
quality and operational excellence. Speaking of experience with the field, I am finishing getting my
NEBOSH General Certification for HSE and ISO 9001 Certification
I am highly motivated, enjoy extensive travel, and am comfortable working in extreme outdoor
environments. My strong communication skills, both oral and written, enable me to effectively
convey complex technical information to clients, rig crews, and well site supervisors. I am
confident that my proactive approach, combined with my passion for problem-solving, would allow
me to make a meaningful contribution to Weatherford’s field operations.
