Central Bank of Oman Hiring for Senior Bank Examiner at Muscat, Masqaţ, Oman Full Time

Central Bank of Oman is seeking to recruit competent, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic Omani candidate to work as Senior Bank Examiner.

Key Accountabilities:

• Updating the Risk Profile of regulated institutions using the Risk Based Supervision.
• Analyzing the credit and market risk of regulated institutions.
• Analyzing the financials of regulated institutions.
• Preparing the Supervisory Plans.
• Preparing the Supervisory Concerns.
• Handling the Banks’ request.
• Reviewing the Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) to ensure the rectification of the supervisory concerns.
• Participates in various inter-and-intra-departmental Task Forces, prudential meeting and policy formulation.
• Understanding of Basel Guidelines and international best practices for Supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/Audit/Islamic Finance or any related fields.

Desirable Qualifications:

Master’s degree in accounting/finance/Islamic Finance

ACCA/CFA

Minimum Experience:

minimum of 6 years of experience in the related fields.
