Plans, develops, and monitors the overall strategies, systems, and tactics of the department in alignment with the company’s overall strategy.
Prepares an annual budget in cooperation with finance department.
Monitors the performance of department employees and conducts periodic performance evaluations.
Creates and communicates monthly and annual KPIs for each employee based on the annual strategic plan.
Maintains a safe and healthy workplace by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, following legal regulations.
Identifies training needs and arranges staff training in achieving company’s strategic plan.
Maintains good relationships with internal functional groups and external customers.
Prepares regular department performance results reports for the GM.
Prepares business and sales forecasts, objectives, program schedule.
Determines sales strategies for the team.
Prepares quotas for sales dealers and other channels.
Leads, builds and direct effective sales policies.
Monitors all sales inquiries and provides general support/assistance on each of the leads until closure of deal.
Continuously monitors business results and analyzes any variances.
Interfaces with relevant manufacturing, product and research development and engineering for creating a focused brand and company strategy.
Identifies potential / new business opportunities and new market segments through competitive intelligence.
In consultation with the General Manager, formulates policy and guidelines on handling business contacts, securing required contact and background information on clients and competitors and creation / management of client database.
Formulates policy and guidelines in areas of business promotions/client relations.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, commerce.
Minimum of 8 -12 years working experience in Sales, Marketing & Business Development, 5-7 years of which should be in management. (Same industry)
Demonstrative track record in sales, business development or account manager to high end retailers.
Self-motivate, success driver and enthusiastic personality is essential.
Great Communication skills with ability to build track and rapport at all levels
Well organized, disciplined and be flexible.
Good Level of literacy, numeracy and computing skills.
