I am excited to apply for the Legal Counsel to a growing company in Middle East. I’m a passionate legal specialist dedicated to providing efficient and well-tailored legal advice as well as legal documents for technology companies, who want to be part of an ambitious legal team that strives for the best and willing to provide nothing less than excellent legal service. Interested in Technology Corporate law, Privacy and technology development globally, making me want to learn more! I have successfully advised a number of startups on their privacy practices, market expansion, business legality.

To specialize in the information technology domain, I’ve completed a master’s degree in IT law from Tartu University from North Europe Estonia, which has taught me deep knowledge about EU regulations for e-commerce, consumer protection, and Privacy & Data protection (GDPR) IT corporate law, besides IT contracts and drafting different type of agreements in the commercial law domain.

More recently, I have successfully drafted terms and conditions policy for a Swiss tax filling online service. I was able to describe clearly what the service does and define the obligations and rights of the company and its clients for using the website and service. As well as the procedural steps to enter into a contract with the company pursuant to The Swiss Federal Law Against Unfair Competition (LCD). Besides that, I limited the company liability to damages arising from violations of only essential contractual obligations, pursuant to the Swiss Code of Obligations, also to exclude any liability that may come against my client from websites, products, or services of third parties. claim no liability for any availability and completeness at all times of customer data and documents entered into the service’ cloud. I successfully made the service not only in compliance with Swiss law but also with European union’s laws. EU legislation was covered, such as Electronic Commerce, Consumer Rights Directive, and GDPR. Now the company is not only able to work with clients who reside in Switzerland but also with clients who reside in EU countries too.

I’ve worked with a non-profit organization called IO Foundation for a project called “Project lockdown” the aim of the project is to provide an interactive and updated map about the COVID-19 state in different countries in the world to help journalists and decision-makers evaluate the data and provide their conclusions. With a global team of 40 people, I was a research editor for the Middle East and North Africa regions, I was able to provide an updated data on the Covid-19 situation in Saudi Arabia from January to August., by researching and interpreting information from the official sources in Arabic and provide translation from Arabic to English when needed. To monitor the workflow, I maintained regular communication through Trello, Slack, and weekly video calls with the team.
