Dear Committee,
I am writing to apply for the Assistant Professor position in the Mechanical Engineering Department, School of Science and Engineering at Curtin University, Dubai.

I have completed my doctoral research work in the area of bio composites at the University of Pune. My thesis has been approved and I had received my doctoral degree in Dec. 2019. Currently I am working as Assistant Professor at Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune, Maharashtra, India. I have served as a lecturer and an assistant professor since 2009 in Pune University.
My reserech publication includes journal articles in peer reviewed journal like Journal of Reinforced Plastic and Composites, Materials Research Express, Noise and Vibration Worldwide, Advances in Materials and Processing Technologies and a book chapter. I have received research grant from AICTE, Government of India for developing a Composite Material Laboratory wherein I am working with eight undergraduate students and one post graduate student .

I am confident that I can bring my strong lecturing, curriculum development, research and leadership skills to the position currently open at your institutions.
